The ScotLIS service is provided by Registers of Scotland (RoS). RoS is responsible for maintaining the land registers for Scotland which is the data you can find in ScotLIS.
How to request copies of property documents
Once you have carried out a ScotLIS search to find a property, and you need copies of the documents, for instance title deeds, title sheets, or plans, you'll need to order them from RoS.
There are two ways to request document copies depending on whether you have a title number from the search results. To request copies of documents when you know the title number, use the RoS copy deeds request form:
